What a journey Chris! Thank you for taking us along with you, it's been a bumpy ride, but your enthusiasm and warmth has really shone through. Not only have you a working CMI now, but an amazing insight to it's working, its development and the incredible people and stories behind it. Oh, and a bunch of good friends to boot. The party in Aus lifted the project to a whole new level too, bringing it to a piece of genuine music industry historical importance. It couldn't have been more timely, with the sad death of Joe Hammer, a very special moment to see the Fairlight gang enjoying their company. Would love to see and hear more, but realise it's a time consuming excercise to put these things out, it's all been appreciated!

22:34 Aristotle: 'The whole is more than the sum of its parts.' I was lucky back in the late 80's to have a friend that had a DX7. We were sequencing, and layering the DX7 with a cheap very simple analogue synth was the best

One of your alleged employee, who may be a service technician for your company, boasted on a FB page that he had numerous vintage synths when he was 17, including a Memorymoog, and even a tattoo when he was 12 (which is weird), in a very off-putting way. He had multiple people telling him that his gear is not what makes his music any good and he is a snob. This man might be able to fix synths, but he is not all OK in the head imho.. Beware of this bearded, tattooed 23ish years old man you may employ, don't let him ruin anything in your company or damage PR. I hope he is just an unrelated troll, in that case disregard this message.

I've watched this series from the very beginning and it's been a fantastic project - BUT, I feel that "calling it done" now, is a bit premature.... You fabricated a beautiful plate. I kind of wish you had let the episode end in the win. I have a laser cutter and I’ve used them for years and I had never heard of that Brilliance stuff. I need to order that RIGHT NOW. Here’s a forehead-smacker for you: painting in the logo fill would have been less stressful if you had stuck blue tape on scrap wood and used your engraver to cut the logo through the tape and made a mask. It would have fit perfectly over the logo on the plate and protected you from painting outside the lines.
